Ben Harper, MD

Ben Harper, MD

Dr. Harper is a specialist in adult knee and hip reconstruction. One of the things that led him to this practice area was his discovery that most patients needing hip and knee replacements were pleased with the results and were able to participate and enjoy life more fully after joint replacement. He enjoys how pleasant it is to visit his patients afterward! Hip and knee arthroplasty are some of the most successful surgeries in America in terms of improvement in quality of life. That is an encouraging fact. Wanting to be as well trained as possible for his patients, he elected to pursue fellowship training in complex hip and knee arthroplasty.

He looks forward to bringing his expertise to you and helping bring back your quality of life with greater mobility and comfort.

Orthopaedic surgery seemed like the perfect combination of a challenging and rewarding professional career that still allowed him to work with his hands. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy gardening and cooking as a family. Dr. Harper and his daughter keep a standing “date” on Saturday morning when he is not on call, which usually winds up being a trip to Tractor Supply and the donut shop. Occasionally, he may sneak off to the range for a round or two of trap.
