Timothy Gossett, MD

Dr. Gossett is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He completed his residency training at University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship at Columbia University in adult joint reconstructive surgery, where he gained extensive experience in anterior hip and robotic techniques.
He specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the hip and knee including direct anterior hip replacement and knee replacement surgery. His clinical interests include outpatient joint replacement, revision arthroplasty and complex primary total joint arthroplasty as well as management of joint infection and orthopedic trauma.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gossett is committed to medical education. He currently serves as Clinical Instructor at the College of Human Medicine and Assistant Professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, both at Michigan State University. He is also actively involved in research focused on pain management and outpatient arthroplasty.
In his free time, Dr. Gossett enjoys biking, fishing, hiking, grilling, and spending time with his wife and three children.
