Michelle O’Neil, PA-C

Michelle graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2009. From there, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Physician Assistant Program from 2009 to 2011. She spent the first few years of her career in Blacksburg, Virginia in a general orthopedics and sports medicine practice where she covered Virginia Tech Athletics while her husband was attending medical school. She and her husband then moved to Grand Rapids in 2015 where she joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group, first specializing in Sports Medicine for two years followed by two years in the Hand surgery department. With the expansion of her family, Michelle transitioned to part-time and joined Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan. She is excited to continue to serve the patients of Grand Rapids with Dr. Thomas Matelic and Dr. Kory Johnson. Michelle’s experience in general orthopedics, hand surgery, sports medicine, and joints is truly unique and ensures that she will provide the best care to you and your family.
