Dr. William Schwab, MD, FACS

Dr. Schwab specializes in sports medicine and the treatment of athletes of all levels, from youth to professional. His leadership roles give tribute to his desire to educate upcoming professionals in his field—he oversees the orthopaedic residency program at three local hospitals and is a clinical professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. As medical director of the team physicians for the Grand Rapids Hoops, Grand Rapids Griffins, West Michigan Whitecaps and the Grand Rapids Rampage, Dr. Schwab has assisted with a wide variety of athletic injuries and consultations. He also lends his expertise to his colleagues by presenting at sports medicine conferences and meetings.
